waterproof too so that’s why early on when i presented you my modified forest antennawith those pvc pipes the pvc hoses are there to protect the actual wire and then waterproofthe antenna itself we’ll are seven uh fibres inside of the outer eggshell uheach of those seven can hold 50 that establishes it 350 pounds and then the outer shell is actually 200 pounds so together they can hold 550 pounds in this case we will take out the inner fibres orjust use the outer 200 pound will be good enough for us we’ll use a lighter to burn that each endof this outer shell so it will not come apart i’m going to test this article indoor so i’mnot going to set a earthing wire on there so this will be my last step to tape thenegative legs to each corner of the base be artistic find your action to secure those sothe connection precisely need to be strong enough to hold the base frame’s weight since the realweight is actually on the connector between the radiating section and the transmitting wondering earlier i pictured you this banana adapter this this using thisadapter you can actually make a little bit cleaner for the connector between the transmission lineand the radiating portion i have researched out the other one modified one with a 5 8 wavelengthand it wielded great it operated better than the stock antenna and most of the antennas ibought online and i can’t wait to find out um what this fourth wavelength forest feeler will dofor me so comparing to a 5 8 wavelength a one-quarter wavelength forest feeler will be able to shootover objects a lot easier and especially if you’re at a lower distinguish and you’ve got a lot more treesor other structures around you a fourth wavelength will play better than a 5 8 wavelength howeverwe are sacrificing a little bit gain now
